In May 2020 Google announced that due to the global COVID-19 pandemic it would be offering it’s video conferencing service Google Meet to everyone for free. This offer meant that anyone with a PC or smartphone device would be able to make free calls of an unlimited length. This offer expires tomorrow, 30th September 2020.
Well, today we’re happy to confirm that Google will be extending this offer until 31st March 2021!!
This means that all Gmail accounts will be able to continue to make calls that are longer than the 40 minutes offered by Zoom.
Google has recently also added a ton of improvements and new features to Meet to make connecting more fun and more productive, too. One of our personal favourites is the ability to cast your calls to your TV or join hands-free on your Nest Hub Max. You can even keep score using our collaborative digital whiteboard.
If you’re looking to move to Google G Suite, or just not getting the level of support or attention you need from your current Google partner. We’re here to help, get in touch or schedule a call.
